Day 3 - Afternoon

I have learned so much about myself today! I didn't know that this rope course would teach so much to me. It taught me that I can trust people more than I normally do! I had to rely on my two partners in that challenge for what seemed to be my life!! It was tough doing the 3rd obstacle thing! There was like nothing to hold on to!! Anyways, Jon and Michael were here for me during then. Cause we were like 30 feet high! And then the zip line we did was 40 feet high! We all enjoyed ourselves during it! Even though it was scary I loved it. Words can not express how awesome of an experience that was! SLA literally is changing my life! :) Love y'all!!

Day 2 - Night

I just got in for the day!!! Today was such an awesome time!! We had to do our first group challenge!! We are the RUMBLE! And we will also make your cookies crumble lol but that's not important... We accidentally lost!! We came in 3rd though! So we are pretty beast! Everyone in SLA has like super spirit! I love these people already and we are such a close family. Can't believe I get to spend 11 more days with these cool cats! Pray for us please!!! Tomorrow we are going on a ropes course! I'm excited! :) love yall!!

Day 2 - Afternoon

So I just got in from being with the SLAers. We got to your LifeWay and meet all the people in like Adventure Now and stuff!! I got to meet all the leaders and coordinaters of all of the Fuges in America. We did a prayer walk in the streets of Nashville. We prayed for the city and the people in it. We didn't talk and we walked for at least an hour and a half. It was an awesome experience to do that here. Then we were assigned to meet and learn facts from other campers. I met 4 kids named Blair, Andrew, Peyton, and Kailee! They are all awesome! It's so much fun to be able to go into like Worship early and greet all of the people that come in! You have to use a lot of energy haha! And we are always so busy that (this is gross) but hard to make the time to take showers haha! But I smell good haha like always!! My QTs are going awesome. Our Bible Studies are so intense. It's mainly discussion and I get so much out of it! It's a blessing. Well I'm gonna go and take a shower finally haha :) love y'all!!!!

Day 1 - Night

So I just got in! We had an awesome day! We got to meet all of the the staffers here! Everyone is so cool here! I'm pumped for the next 2 weeks. We got to talk to Sean Marie today and she is probably the best leader ever!! Tomorrow starts our true day!

Day 1 - Afternoon

Got to play tennis with LC. I'm loving SLA!!! These people are literally crazy! My roommate Jon and I get along so well. Everyone her is so cool haha! I'm loving my group. We have to meet at the Bell Tower at 5:15. I'll post again tonight, love y'all :)

Night Before SLA 2012 :)

Well it's the night before i leave. I'm really gald that God is blessing me with this experience. I look forward to spending time with people that i dont even know!!! (besides LC) I hope to grow so much as a leader as i do this program. Hearing from Meredith, it sounds like it's going to be so much fun. I'm leaving at 11 tomorrow morning. We have to be there between 1 and 4. Please Please Please be in prayer for me. I have never been away from my home/mom for 2 weeks!! That's a long time lol. Well its 11:40 right now, so im gonna hit the bed and get some rest before SLA. Pray for me and Lauren.. LOVE YALL :)

6 Days Left

Got to talk to my SLA leader yesterday! She was so cool! This has only gotten me excited about next Monday! I'm really in deep preayer about this. I really want God to move me while I'm at SLA. I want to become such a good leader to others. I hope to glorify God so much during this experience. I'm also really glad that i get to go through this experience with Lauren! Be in prayer for us please :)
